Ladies mechanical day - west eyreton Hall
Calling all women keen to gain confidence under the bonnet and out on the track—our very first Toolbox Sisterhood workshop is here!
This hands-on session is designed for women in the 4WD scene or those wanting to dive deeper into it. Whether you're brand new or just want to understand your truck better, this is your space to learn, ask questions, and get stuck in without any judgement.
What we’ll cover:
1. How an engine works – demystifying the heart of your vehicle
2. Key parts and what they actually do
3. Starting systems – theory + a practical session (we’re collecting scrap parts for this!)
4. How to safely change a tyre – tips, tools, and muscle
5. A few other bits and bobs to help you feel more capable and confident around your vehicle
Let’s get our hands dirty and our confidence growing.
Spaces will be limited so we can keep it practical and personal.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to have any experience before being a part of this event?
No you do not! This is a space to help women find more confidence to take on the tools and their vehicles. We all start somewhere and this workshop will designed the best way it can be to support all levels of experience.
Will we be learning how to do a service?
I'm not planning to do a full service on the day - these can take time and I want to do this first workshop as more of an introduction. We'll go over what a basic service includes, as well as what tools you'll need in your kit to complete one!
What's the cost?
Nothing! However a small koha might be appreciated 🤣
